The live sound of the YAMAHA F310 spruce and meranti guitar has a bright, sweet resonance (similar to the famous YAMAHA FG guitars). The fingerboard and bridge of the YAMAHA F310 are made of rosewood.

Beginning young guitarists will appreciate the playing comfort provided by the slightly reduced body depth and length of the scale. The electro-acoustic version of the YAMAHA FX310 uses a delightfully simple active preamp system with just a volume and tone control.
