Improved hi-hat controller and bass drum pad

The DTX432K features the same excellent pads and sound engine as the DTX402K, but features an improved custom hi-hat controller (HH65) with a half-open function and a vertical kick pad. drum (KP65) for a more realistic feel. Also included is the signature FP6110A bass drum pedal, but you can easily use any other pedal if needed.

The DTX402 Voices are the result of decades of producing top-notch drums and authentic, high-quality drum samples. 10 built-in drum kits, including both acoustic and electronic sounds, will help you find the instrument that is perfect for your purposes. If that's not enough, just create your own set from the many timbres built into the sound module's memory.

Training Mode

The new DTX 402 is equipped with ten training functions that will become the drummer's true companion. The Pad Gate function will help improve the dynamics of the sound, the Gate Function helps to develop an accurate sense of rhythm - the most important feeling for any drummer, and the Fast Blast function will measure and display the speed of the blows. All your achievements are stored in the module's memory, so you can always objectively evaluate your own progress.

Useful Apps

To make your music experience even easier and more fun, Yamaha has developed a dedicated DTX402 Touch app for iOS* and Android**. Challenge Mode lets you play with built-in songs as if it were a computer game. Go through all the stages, complete the final level - and you will receive a drummer certificate from Yamaha. In addition to practicing, you can edit drum kits without navigating the module's menus using the Editor function. The DTX402 is also compatible with the Rec'n'Share iOS* app, allowing you to rehearse and perform to your favorite music and easily share your performance with friends and social media.   *An optional Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit is required to connect to an iOS device. **An optional OTG adapter is required to connect to an Android device

USB Audio Transfer Connect your DTX402 sound module to your computer with a standard USB cable, launch your favorite audio editor and record your own performance without the need for microphones, sound cards or any additional devices.

Thoughtful Design

Yamaha knows everything there is to know about drums... and even a little more :) It is from this experience that the compact and user-friendly design of the DTX was developed. The position and angle of each cymbal, tom and snare drum can be easily adjusted to fit the drummer in the most correct and comfortable position. And the ability to change the height of most components of the kit makes it an ideal choice for even the youngest musicians. The DTX402 won't take up too much space in the room - the folding steel frame makes it possible to store it even in small apartments, and quick and easy assembly does not require any special skills - even a child can handle it.
